It’s now 2020 and I’ve received my new bike from Cannondale as part of the Cannondale Ambassador Program.
The bike is a Jekyll 2 the same as my previous years bike but instead of being 650b this time it’s a 29r and the larger wheel size makes this bike something else.
Some other notable changes on this years model is that they have improved both the spec of the Fox forks and rear shock. The new suspension comes with both high and low speed compression and rebound. Cannondale have also done away with the carbon bars and cranks and replaced them with cheaper aluminium alternatives.
First impressions of riding this bike are very positive. It feels smoother and faster and much more planted when riding over the rough stuff. I think this bike will help me improve on my race times compared to the 650b.
