The Xmas Ride

The Southern Enduro Xmas ride took place this past Sunday. There was a great turnout of riders all in a festive mood and ready to sample the loamy delights that Surrey had to offer.

Everyone met at 10am at the Devil’s Punchbowl and we quickly set off starting with a nice cross country trail to warm up through the gorse bushes. This was a great way to gauge the groups speed and fitness. Everyone was on great form and were ready to tackle some more challenging trails.

LOAM LOAM LOAM

Once everyone had sufficiently warmed up we headed straight into some steeper loam enduro style trails that surrey is famous for. Even though there had been plenty of rain previously the sun was out and the trails were grippy.

The ride continued along a 10mile loop hitting multiple trails and finishing in a some more built up trails that people could session whilst David (Big Mac Photography) Mcfarlane took some incredible photos.
